After a weekend that saw something for everyone, from sun and wind to rain and even reports of sleet, the first week of November shapes up to be cool and dry in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

According to National Weather Service forecasters, a sunny Monday with a high of 67 will give way to what could be stormy conditions Monday night into Tuesday morning. Isolated thunderstorms in the area are a possibility.

Lesser chances of rain are predicted Wednesday night and Thursday, and Saturday and Saturday night.

After highs of 57 Tuesday and 62 Wednesday, high temperatures aren't expected to get out of the 40s through Sunday.

Low temperatures will drop into the 30s and upper 20s Thursday through Sunday.
