A Quincy man faces an additional charge following a preliminary hearing in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday.

62 year old Michael Curtis appeared in court this week on charges following use of a search warrant at his home March 7th.  Charges of felony possession and use of a firearm with a prior record are added to the original charges brought following the search. after a search at 1925 Sherwood Estates in Quincy. Authorities say Curtis was arrested for unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Court records indicate Curtis was placed on probation in 2015 for a charge of unlawful possession of meth in Missouri.
