For small businesses that need financial help getting through the COVID-19 crisis, help is on the way.

Officials with the Adams County Board and Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials announced Monday the establishment of the Adams County Small Business Emergency Loan Program.

The maximum loan amount is $10,000 at one percent interest. The first payment is deferred up to six months, and must be paid back in 12 months, or 18 months from when the loan check was issued.

For the purposes of loan eligibility, a small business is defined as having no less than two and no more than 50 employees.

Two Rivers will administer the program. Loan applications can be found at www.co.adams.il.us or at adamscountytogether.com.
