Health department officials in Adams County reported two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Saturday.

This brings the total number of cases in Adams County to 50. Of those cases 42 patients have recovered, with one death.

A contact tracing investigation is being conducted to follow up with close contacts and advise of potential exposure.

There were six new cases of COVID-19 in Adams County last week, after only one new case was reported in the previous month.
