Adams County Pursuit Ends With Fatal Crash

A brief high speed pursuit northeast of Quincy early Sunday afternoon ends in a fatal crash.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say they were investigating a criminal case in the 78-hundred block of Ewbanks road when the suspect was seen driving in the area. The suspect fled west on Ellington road and was killed when his vehicle hit a concrete railroad bridge support on the south side of the road. Deputies identify the driver as 47 year old Robert Reinold of Fowler. Reinold was pronounced dead at the scene.
