They'll try again to finish the 48th Highland Tournament Wednesday night. January 11th was the originally scheduled championship night at Highland. Weather forced additional postponements on January 18th and on February 5th. As weather conditions
permit, they'll try again tomorrow. (JAN 12)

Activity begins at 5:00 with the girls consolation championship matching Kirksville and Highland. The girls championship game matches Macon and Palmyra for the second time this year. Macon won the Clarence Cannon Conference matchup at Palmyra 52-42.

The boys game matches Palmyra and Kirksville. Palmyra's Jaden Durst has a chance to break the individual scoring record for the tourney.Durst had 32 points in the Panthers first round win over Canton. He put up 29 in the semifinals during a 66-47 win over Clark County. Durst needs 27 points to tie Knox County's Brett Franke. He scored 88 points for the Eagles during the 1995 tournament.
