Eight days after announcing his retirement as Hannibal High School football and track coach, Mark St. Clair has a change of heart. St. Clair announced this (FR) morning that he will continue his coaching career. What led to this decision? St Clair says there was some self-analysis. "I'm doing what I love to do and I think that's the biggest part."
St. Clair says he'll take more time for himself through the year; "No big changes. A day here or there to go fishing would do me some good and probably the team too."
Practice starts July 31st. The 2017 season begins August 18th at Jeff City Helias. Through 20 seasons, the Hannibal Pirates are 170 and 59 with one Show Me Bowl appearance…one semifinalist…and four trips to the quarterfinals including the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
