The iconic Mark Twain Dinette in Hannibal has made a couple changes, and are now offering guests a unique shopping experience in Hannibal. According to the Mark Twain Dinette's Facebook page they are introducing a new shopping area to their location called "Paddlebox Games" a place to find different indoor and outdoor games. In their Facebook post they say...

"Some of you might have noticed some big changes to our one of our seating areas as we open our new game and gift shop! We are excited to offer indoor and outdoor games and specialty games not available in Hannibal...More inventory is coming in daily. Stop in and pick up some fun games to enjoy with your friends and family this summer or for a last minute gift! #shoplocal"

It seems as though they are adding new games already from some of their other Facebook posts. And I think this is a really cool thing for the Mark Twain Dinette to add to their building, they are such an iconic part of the Hannibal tourist scene, as well as the local scene, it makes sense for them to add a really nice gift shop for the travelers to shop at before and after they dine. Also getting it done and ready for customers just as the summer tourism months are starting up makes great business sense too. So next time you're in Hannibal check out all that the new Paddlebox Games has to offer at the Mark Twain Dinette, and get a root beer while you're there!

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
