A Quincy man convicted in the shooting death of a 12-year-old Quincy boy was in court for sentencing.

65 years is the sentence for Steson Crider following his conviction on first degree murder charges in the shooting death of 12-year-old Rayshone Humphrey Jr. last spring. Crider is to serve 100 percent of the sentence. The sentence is also what Adams County State’s Attorney Jon Barnard suggested after Crider was found guilty during his October trial.

Jurors needed only 90 minutes to return the guilty verdict following 10 day trial.
