School officials announced on Facebook Thursday there has been another student test positive at Highland High School.

That one positive case results in the quarantining of 46 students and six staff members, who were contacted Wednesday night.

Officials say that, for now, all classes are covered so that school can stay open. However, they are out of subs and more quarantines could force Highland to move into temporary virtual mode for all students.

As a result of this latest COVID case, Highland will not be able to play football at South Shelby Friday night.

South Shelby has scheduled another team for their homecoming Friday night.
