51 New Area COVID Cases, Two COVID Related Deaths Wednesday
Area health departments reported 51 new COVID-19 cases and two COVID related deaths Wednesday.
The Adams County Health Department reported the deaths of two residents due to COVID, a man and woman both in their 70s.
There were also 16 new coronavirus cases in Adams County Wednesday, bringing their case count to 7,836, with 135 active, 19 hospitalized, three in ICU and now 111 deaths.
Officials in Marion County reported 11 new COVID cases Wednesday. Their case count is now 3,539, with 59 active, six hospitalized and 64 deaths.
The Shelby County Health Department reported ten new COVID cases since February 1st. Their case total is now 634, with ten active, three hospitalized and nine deaths.
Ralls County reports nine new coronavirus cases since Monday, running their case total to 1,029, with 18 active, one hospitalized and 14 deaths.
In Pike County, Illinois, four new COVID cases were reported. Their case total is 1,644, with 14 active, four hospitalized and 47 deaths.
And, there was one new COVID case reported in Clark County Wednesday, running their case total to 707, with 13 active, one hospitalized and 21 deaths.
