38 New COVID-19 Cases in Marion County Monday

The spike in new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County continues.

The Marion County Health Department Monday reported 38 additional positive cases of coronavirus.

The new cases include 20 males, age zero to 90 and 18 females, age 10 to 80. 13 are in a nursing home, 24 are quarantined at home and one is hospitalized.

The total number of positive cases in Marion County now stands at 511, with 146 active, nine hospitalized, 353 recovered and 12 deaths.

Health department officials say they continue to work closely with Levering Regional Health Care Center on testing and contact tracing.
