New Judge Appointed in Case of Bicyclist’s Death
A new judge will be appointed for a Camp Point man charged in the death of a bicyclist earlier this summer.
The case against 21-year-old Colton Walker is referred to a chief judge for re-assignment. Walker was arrested after authorities say he abandoned a vehicle with damage consistent with the collision with a bicycle.
The June 20 collision killed 62-year-old Michael Pulliam of Quincy on US 24 near Spring Lake Drive. Walker faces charges including leaving the scene of an accident involving death—a Class 1 felony.
