The Adams County Health Department reported the 40th death of an Adams County resident from COVID related illness, a male in his 80s.

Officials also reported 112 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Friday, ranging in age from under 20 to over 80.

The Adams County COVID total is now 4,216, with 1,193 active, 80 hospitalized from 20s to 90s and 13 in intensive care.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests in 10.48%.
