World War II Era Fighter Recovered from Lake Michigan

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (AP) - A World War-Two era plane has been recovered from on the bottom of Lake Michigan, where it has been for nearly 70 years. The plane crashed during aircraft-carrier training near Waukegan on December 28th, 1944. Crews recovered the Grumman FM-2 "Wildcat" fighter on Friday.
