Motorists traveling Illinois Routes 110 and 336 in Adams County will have to contend with road construction starting next week.

The Illinois Department of Transportation reports that there will be pavement sealing and resurfacing, striping and drainage improvements on 110 and 336, along with Illinois 61, along a ten mile stretch from the Hancock County line south to Mendon.

Motorists can expect lane closures, with one lane open in each direction at all times. The work is expected to be complete by mid-August.
