Dan Bush of Missouri Skies YouTube channel just shared this video that was captured at approximately 2:52 am Friday, September 30, 2022. Note that there is one major fireball at the beginning that leaves a trail of smoke, then watch closely and you'll see at least a half dozen other space rocks streak across the sky.

Here's a snapshot of the smoke trail from the biggest meteor shown in Dan's video.

Here's another view of this meteor captured in the Ozarks.

So far, I haven't seen any other videos or reports of these objects on the American Meteor Society website, but that may have more to do with the fact that they happened quite literally in the middle of the night.

On September 25, 2022, there was another meteor that was reported by dozens in both Missouri and Illinois and other Midwestern states.

It could be these space rocks are part of the Orionid meteor shower that normally isn't visible until later in October. The American Meteor Society website shows this is active now though as are the Taurids.
