If you were staring at the gorgeous full moon over Missouri Sunday night, you might have caught a glimpse of a spectacular fireball which was captured on video exploding over the state.

If you happen to have been looking at the sky over Missouri in the northern part of the state Tuesday night, you might have caught glimpse of a brilliant sky sight as a huge meteor exploded as shown by a camera in Missouri.

One of the most brilliant fireballs of 2023 so far was spotted over Illinois and many other states early Thursday morning and the event was captured by security camera video.

Skies over Missouri are rarely boring. In the spring, it's rowdy thunderstorms. In mid-November, there's something special happening involving the remnants of an ancient comet which will be visible if you look close enough.

If you were looking up at the sky for some reason late Thursday night in Missouri, you got quite a surprise. An enormous fireball suddenly zoomed across the sky and exploded on the horizon and a backyard camera captured it as it happened.
