Volunteers are needed Saturday morning for the clean up along Bear Creek in Hannibal.

Anyone who would like to help clean up the trash and debris that the flood left behind is asked to meet anytime between 8 and 11 a.m. in the parking lot at Sodalis Nature Preserve at 700 Ely Street.

The clean-up is cosponsored by Hannibal Parks and Rec and the Hannibal Board of Public Works. The 1819 Stream Team is providing gloves and trash bags.

Organizers are hoping to remove a large amount of trash and debris from the area to conserve and protect Bear Creek and the Sodalis Nature Preserve.
