Hannibal BPW Urges Customers to Conserve Energy
Larger than normal demand for electricity by customers of the Hannibal Board of Public Works has BPW asking for help in keeping energy usage down.
BPW officials say that, while system wide energy usage is within their normal operational range, they anticipate a drastic increase in energy prices in the coming months.
The city is asking its customers to do their part to conserve usage and lessen the demand for energy.
BPW also urges its customers to contact them if they have concerns about their higher utility bills caused by increased usage in this extreme cold spell.
