VIDEO: Why Did Canadian Air Force Just Fly Over a Missouri Farm?

Something peculiar just happened in Missouri and I don't have a good answer as to why. A new video share shows what appears to be planes from the Canadian Air Force that just flew over a remote farm in Missouri.

When I first came across this new video on YouTube, I assumed that the guy who shared it must have had a ranch near Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, but that's not the case. Zion's Gate Ranch says that the family moved to a remote part of the Ozarks and I believe they are off-the-grid homesteaders.

What this video and see what you make of it. I can't identify the markings on the plane, but he apparently clearly saw Canadian identification of some sort.

I have checked out the Canadian Air Force website and it looks like they might be CC130J's. When you look at the purpose of these large planes, the plot thickens about what they were doing over the Ozarks of Missouri:

It can land and airdrop heavy loads of equipment, supplies and personnel into hostile environments. The J-model Hercules can operate from unpaved airstrips in active operations and carry up to 92 fully equipped paratroopers

Are we about to be invaded by Canada? I'm asking for a friend. Where are Bob and Doug McKenzie when you need them?

In all seriousness, these are likely just doing maneuvers in and around Whiteman Air Force Base. It's not that far to the north of what most of us consider to be the Missouri Ozarks and for big transport planes like these, that distance would be nothing. Still, it's a strange video over Missouri captured by an off-the-grid family. Have to imagine that made their day.
