Vehicle Theft Arrest in Quincy

A LaGrange man is in the Adams County Jail following a vehicle theft investigation.
On Wednesday, Quincy Police located a vehicle on a hotel parking lot at 300 Gardner Expressway reported stolen Tuesday in Lewis County. Police say 43 year old Steven Clay was arrested after a search warrant was used in his room at the hotel.
The search also yielded a shotgun. Clay was taken to the Adams County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen vehicle. Bond is set at 15-thousand dollars.
