Two Quincy Residents Arrested on Meth Related Charges
The execution of a search warrant at a Quincy residence Thursday afternoon results in the arrest of two people on meth related charges.
The Illinois State Police reports that a warrant was served by officers of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and the West Central Illinois Task Force at 1608 ½ North 6th.
The search resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, cannabis, scales and drug paraphernalia.
Taken into custody were 33 year old Justin Heckrodt and 25 year old Lacey Hills. Both are charged with unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver.
Court records show that Heckrodt is currently out on bond on an unlawful possession of meth case from May of this year.
Two minor children in the home at the time of the search were taken into temporary custody and turned over to a family member.
