Two Iowans Arrested for Theft, Criminal Trespass

Two Iowa residents are in the Adams County Jail on theft charges.

Quincy Police reported they learned of a pursuit of a vehicle stolen in Keokuk by Marion County deputies about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspects crossed into Quincy, where officers found the stolen vehicle abandoned near 6th and Jackson.

A search of the area resulted in the arrests of 32 year old Robert Knopp and 24 year old Tiffani Thompson, both of Ames, Iowa.

Knopp and Thompson are in the Adams County Jail, charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, criminal trespass to vehicle and driving with a revoked license.
