Two Inducted Into Quincy Area Chamber Business HOF

Two long time community leaders are the newest inductees into the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame.

Inducted during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting Wednesday were Phil Conover-- recognized primarily for his work in a number of areas at John Wood Community College in the 1980s and the late William F. Gerdes III.. President of Michelmann Steel from 1975 until 2006.

The Business Hall of Fame was established in 2006 to celebrate the history and accomplishments of the Quincy area business community.
