Two Arrests Follow Traffic Stop

(QUINCY)—A traffic stop on the on ramp to I-172 from Broadway in Quincy at 10:02 Thursday evening results in two arrests. Quincy Police say the driver—31 year old Isaiah Murray of Camp Point was driving on a suspended license. Murray and a passenger—30 year old James Walker of Quincy fled and were located a half mile away. Walker was wanted on an outstanding warrant. A search of their vehicle yielded a loaded handgun magazine. A search of the area by an Adams County Sheriff’s department K-9 located a loaded nine millimeter handgun. Murray faces charges of possession of a firearm by a felon.. driving while suspended and other charges.
