A search of a house being used as a day care results in two drug arrests.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents,  Quincy Police and Adams County Sheriff’s deputies searched a residence at 1125 North Seventh Monday afternoon. Use of the warrant follows a drug investigation. Authorities say 29 year old Jerry Whitley was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. 20 year old Cambron Abrams was arrested for unlawful delivery of marijuana. Whitley and Abrams lived at 1125 North Seventh. The search yielded firearms… meth… marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Seven children were located in the residence. Three additional children were in a vehicle that was stop as it left the scene. The children—all under the age of 14 were turned over to family members. The Department of Children and Family Services will be investigating.
