Two Canton men are jailed in connection with an investigation into a number of thefts from vehicles in Lewis County.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports search warrants were executed at three homes in Canton Wednesday in connection with multiple reports of catalytic converters being cut from exhaust systems of several vehicles in the Canton area last week.

Following the searches, 34 year old Franklin Gollaher, Jr. was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Also taken into custody was 33 year old Shawn Shannon, charged with receiving stolen property. Shannon is currently under the supervision of the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole.

Gollaher is in the Clark County Jail on $10,000 bond. Shannon is in the Lewis County Jail on $20,000 bond.
