Two Arrested For Arson Following Lewis CO. Fire

A Sunday fire in Lewis County results in two arrests on arson charges.
Western Lewis County Fire Protection District crews responded along with Lewis County R-4 and Newark firefighters. The Lewis County Sheriff’s office says the investigation resulted in the arrest Wednesday the owner of the residence—37 year old Dakota Moore for conspiracy to commit arson. 27 year old Cameron Niethe of rural Lewistown was arrested for arson in the second degree. Deputies say their investigation found the fire was an attempt to collect the insurance. Moore and Niethe were released on a summons. An April 20^th court appearance is scheduled.
