Two Quincy residents were arrested on drug charges a little after 3 this morning.

At 3:03 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted at 8th and York on a black Buick driven by Amanda S. Brown, and passenger, identified as Stephen Ballinger. Both were out on bond for previous methamphetamine violations. A search of the vehicle found a meth lab.

Quincy Police Officers and members of the State Police Meth Response Team conducted a search of Brown and Ballinger's residence at 609 Adams where another meth lab and meth manufacturing materials were found. The residence of 925 Elm was also search, as both Brown and Ballinger were in the process of moving there, but nothing illegal was found.

Both are lodged in the Adams County Jail on meth-related charges.
