Lightly based on the Gospel According to Matthew, 'Godspell' (by Stephen Schwartz, the Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer of 'Wicked' and 'Pippin') draws from various theatrical traditions. It was—and continues to be—a groundbreaking and unique reflection of the life of Jesus with a message for today of kindness, tolerance, and love.

'Godspell' is under the direction of Managing Artistic Director Lenny Bart, with Vocal Director Becky Payne, Choreographer Cheryl Kaiser, and is conducted by Mike Saul. Scenic and lighting design is by Technical Director Paul Denckla with costumes by resident designer Anna Grywalski. Trevor Ketteman serves as the stage manager.

Tickets are $20, and are on sale now. For tickets or more information, visit 1qct.org or call the QCT Box Office, located in the Oakley-Lindsay Center, to make a reservation. Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
