Three people suffer serious injuries in two separate traffic crashes Friday afternoon and evening.

A Loraine man is seriously hurt and is ticketed as the result of a two vehicle crash at Cannonball Road and Kochs Lane in Quincy at 3:35 p.m. Friday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 28 year old Shelby Bollman of Loraine was stopped at the stop sign on Kochs Lane, turned north onto Cannonball Road and was struck by a large truck, driven by 23 year old Shane Brinkman of Fowler.

Bollman was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. He was also ticketed for failure to yield at a stop or yield intersection.

 

An Iowa couple suffers serious injuries in a two vehicle crash on Highway 61 at Clark County Route F at 8:20 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 59 year old Ricky Shuffler of Birmingham, Iowa was northbound, failed to yield and was struck by a northbound SUV, driven by 55 year old Timothy Liechty of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Ricky Shuffler and his passenger, 57 year old Dovie Shuffler, were both taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
