The execution of a court authorized search warrant results in three drug-related arrests in Pittsfield Saturday.

According to Pittsfield Police Chief Kenneth Yelliott, officers first located a sex offender who was within 500 feet of a licensed day care and preschool facility. Also, the sex offender had been residing at a residence without notifying the Pike County Sheriff’s Office of his change of address.

The search of the house revealed methamphetamine, smoking pipes and drug paraphernalia.

25 year old Zachary Greenwood was arrested for Presence of a Child Sex Offender Within 500 Feet of a School Zone and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Zachary Greenwood and two others, 28 year old Stephan Greenwood and 36 year old Maegan Young, were arrested for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
