A report of a burglary in progress leads to three arrests Sunday.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the call at a location north of Canton.

Deputies arrived to find two suspects, 30 year old Colten Sturm of Wayland and 30 year old Dwight Woodbury of Keokuk, being held at gunpoint by the land owner.

A third suspect, 32 year old Christopher Batley of Kahoka, was found hiding on the property and was also taken into custody.

All three men are charged with burglary. Batley is also charged with armed criminal action and assault.

Batley is being held on $50,000 bond. Sturm and Woodbury are jailed on $25,000 bond each.
