Three Arrested for Mob Action, Battery, Armed Violence

Quincy Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 800 Block of North 6th just before 10 p.m. Thursday.

Officers arrived to find three victims who had been battered with metal poles.

Two of the victims, identified as a 44 year old female and a 43 year old male were taken to Blessing Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation led to a traffic stop in the 9th and Maine area, where 23 year old Dartangnon Tousson and 47 year old Chaka Carraway were taken into custody.

A short time later, 40 year old Jason Carraway was also arrested.

All three are lodged in the Adams County Jail, charged with mob action.
Chaka Carraway is also charged with aggravated battery. Tousson and Jason Carraway face additional charges of armed violence.

Quincy Police say this was not a random act and the investigation is ongoing.
