A child abduction report from a Quincy motel results in the arrest of three men from Nebraska.

Quincy Police were called to a motel in the 38-hundred block of Broadway at 10:25 p.m. On arrival, the mother of a one-year-old and a two-year-old told police their father had taken them and was believed to be headed to Nebraska.

Police obtained descriptions of the children, names of the suspects and vehicle descriptions. That information was passed on to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Quincy Police say that the Highway Patrol reported around midnight that the vehicle had been stopped and the children were safe.

Arrested were 24-year-old Christopher Loupin, 52-year-old Eddy Loupin and 33-year-old Lee Fowler of Deshler, Nebraska. Troopers took the three men to the Macon County Jail where they are held on 500-thousand dollars bond on charges related to the child abduction.
