Three Area Traffic Crashes Saturday

(NEW LONDON)—A motorcycle crash on US 61 just north of New London at 3:40 Saturday afternoon results in serious injuries for a Hannibal man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a motorcycle operated by 44 year old Arnold Haynes went into the median. Haynes was thrown from the motorcycle. He was air evac’d to Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
(MEDILL)—A pickup truck crash on US 136 a mile west of Medill at 10:35 Saturday morning sends a Luray man to the hospital. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 47 year old Steven Schantz went off the road… overcorrected… went off the road again and overturned. Schantz was taken to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis for treatment of moderate injuries.
(LIBERTY)—A one vehicle crash on the Barry Blacktop south of Illinois 104 at 11:17 Saturday morning results in minor injuries for a New Canton man. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say 31 year old Ryan Brown lost control of his van. The vehicle went through a ditch and into a wooded area.  Brown was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
