The Quincy Salvation Army will open the Kroc Center and Family Services office as cooling centers on days when heat advisories are issued for our area, for those who need to get out of the extreme heat.
Fund raising continues for the Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign in Quincy and Hannibal. The goal in Hannibal was 90-thousand dollars. Just over 63-hundred dollars remains to meet that goal. Quincy’s goal is 390-thousand dollars. They’re around 13-thousand dollars from reaching that goal.
To date, $68,583 has been raised toward the $90,000 goal of The Salvation Army’s 2013 Red Kettle Christmas campaign in Hannibal, Missouri. There are only a few days left to make 2013 tax-deductible contributions, and The Salvation Army encourages the community to make contributions before the end of the year, in order to help us meet the goal.
