Band Day is a always an event Hannibal residents look forward to each year. Marching bands from around the region gather in America's Hometown for a parade down Broadway, and then a field show at Porter Stadium.
It's Homecoming Week in Hannibal. The Hannibal High School Homecoming Parade was held at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening down Broadway. Players, cheerleaders, the Pirate Pride Marching Band and Hannibal residents turned out in their black and red to show school spirit during the parade.

The Hannibal Pirates will open their 2014 football season on the road at MICDS High School in St. Louis. The start time of that game has been moved due to extreme heat forecast for Saturday.
Hannibal High School, along with the Missouri School-College Relations Commission, will be sponsoring a College and Career Night on Thursday, September 26. The event will be held in the Hannibal High School Cafeteria from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to all students and parents but it is specifically designed for Juniors and Seniors.
