An amusement park in Illinois named 3rd best in America, but you should see who they left out.

It was one of the biggest architectural dreams in Missouri that was never realized. The Indian Ridge Mansions are gone now, but there are still many that don't understand exactly how they came about and why there were trashed. The history is interesting and there are still big questions and some potential big news about what's to come.

There are big plans in the works for a massive new theme park that's set to be located along Route 66 right across the Missouri border. Developers are investing an incredible $2 billion dollars into the project.

It's still just a vision, but it is a vision with specific plans and if they become reality, it could be an amusement park that brings a half million new visitors to Missouri as early as 2024.

This just might be the nicest theme park in the Midwest once it goes live in 2024. A $300 million dollar family amusement park is planned for Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks and it looks like it will be epic.

There are very few topics more controversial than amusement parks. Say that one is better than another and you're almost certainly gonna start a fight. Prepare to battle then as a new ranking claims that Worlds of Fun in Kansas City is a better amusement park than Six Flags in St. Louis.

I am a huge fan of Six Flags and have been most of my life. However, I believe that the amusement park on the other side of Missouri might be one of the most underrated parks in America.
