Sunday Afternoon Fire in Liberty

Fire Sunday afternoon heavily damages a house in Liberty. Firefighters from West Central, Camp Point and Liberty Fire Departments were called to 506 Park Street. The house sustained extensive damage. No injuries are reported. Cause of the fire is unknown although firefighters say the homeowner heard a crackling sound in the attic, went upstairs and noticed an orange glow and immediately left the house.
