Summer Bids for Bargains Begins July 14 on KHMO, KICK-AM

The tri-annual event we like to call "The Original Radio Auction" is back.

Summer Bids for Bargains, presented by Gem City Ford, returns to News Talk 1070 KHMO and Classic Country KICK-AM 1530 Tuesday through Saturday, July 14-18, from 8:05 a.m. till noon each day.

The on-air experience will be the same - we will place items up for bid, you call us to place your best bid. Once the high bid is set, if there is a quantity of the item, you can purchase the item for that high bid.

What will change beginning with this auction, is how you get your certificates once you have paid for your items. You will no longer be able to come to our Hannibal studios to pick up your Bids purchase. All bids purchases will be mailed to you.

To pay for your items, you can still go to www.bids4bargains.com and use your Visa, MasterCard or Discover card to pay on line. If you need to pay by check, call our office at 573-221-3450 to confirm your purchase total and drop off your check in Hannibal. There will be a drop-off slot at the front door at 119 North 3rd St.

Between now and July 14, you can go to bids4bargains.com to look over the items that will be up for bid.
