Cardinals outfield prospect Stephen Piscotty spent much of this off season finishing his college degree. Piscotty now has a engineering degree in renewable energy and solar and wind Techonolgy from Stanford.

Piscotty says getting the degree went smoothly despite the demands of being in an engineering program at Stanford while playing college baseball.  He says his college summer league experiences in the Alaska League and the Cape Cod League were very useful in being ready for the everyday grind when he joined the Cardinal organization in 2012.

Piscotty says he prefers right field, but he has some experience in left. He doubts that he has the speed to play regularly in center.
