St. Elizbeth Hospital Building Nominated

(UNDATED)—Hannibal’s St. Elizabeth Hospital building at 109 Virginia is one of 20 locations under consideration for  the National Register of Historic Places. Also on the list for consideration is the First Presbyterian Church building at 401 Jefferson in LaGrange. The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will consider nominations during its quarterly meeting in Jefferson City on May 18. Approved nominations are forwarded to the Keeper of the National Register in Washington D.C for final approval.
