Shot Fired Into Hannibal Residence

Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 1300 block of Grace St at 10:15a.m. Tuesday morning in regards to gun shots. A preliminary investigation revealed that one shot was fired into a residence and is believed to be in retaliation to an assault which occurred earlier in the day, at another location. No one at the residence was hurt. Officers are attempting to locate suspects and sort through the information they have received at this time. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released as appropriate.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
