Sheriff Identifies Body Found Near Boonville

Cooper County authorities have arrested a suspect in the death of a woman whose body was found this week near Boonville.

Sheriff Jerry Wolfe says the victim was found 32-year-old Satina T. Beckner of Columbia. Her body was found Wednesday on a road six miles south of Boonville.

Authorities have not said how Beckner died but say the case is a homicide.

KOMUreports  the sheriff's office announced Friday morning it had arrested a 23-year-old man from Columbia in connection with Beckner's death. No further information was released.
