Search Continues for Missing Ursa Fisherman

The search continued early this morning for an Ursa fisherman.

The 77 year old man was last seen as he left to go fishing about noon Tuesday and hasn’t been seen since.

The unidentified man’s truck and trailer were parked at the boat launch, his boat was found floating in the river and the man’s dog was found safe.

The air and water search for the man centered around the Bear Creek area in Adams County.

A number of agencies and volunteers are helping with the search, including an aerial search by the Illinois State Police.
