Mississippi River levels are slowly falling in the Hannibal-Quincy area. Levels on Tuesday morning are down almost a foot from last weekend's crests.

Tuesday morning's river stages...
Hannibal 29.25 8:15a
Quincy 30.02 8:15a
LaGrange 27.21 8:00a
Canton 26.39 6:00a
Louisiana 27.26 8:30a
Clarksville 36.85 8:30a

After much work and with falling river levels, an evacuation order issued last week for West Quincy and Taylor is lifted. Fabius Drainage District officials issued the order last week because of concerns about the stability of a levee along Durgens Creek. Drainage District President Roger Sutter says the order was lifted around 2 p-m Monday.
