ATLANTA (AP) - The St. Louis Cardinals' game at the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night was postponed because of rain.

A doubleheader has been scheduled for Sunday, the final day of the regular season, starting at 12 noon Central time.

St. Louis, the NL Central champion, opens the NL Division Series at home on Friday against the winner of the wild card game between Pittsburgh and the Chicago Cubs.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Kyle Hendricks allowed one hit and struck out eight in six innings, and the Chicago Cubs kept alive their hopes to host to the NL wild card game with a 1-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday night. Chicago won its seventh straight game behind a stellar effort from Hendricks.

NEW YORK (AP) - Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer has tossed his second no-hitter of the year, and the second thrown against the Mets this season. Scherzer struck out 17 and walked none in a 2-0 shutout at Citi Field. He is the sixth pitcher to toss a pair of no-hitters in the same year, and the first since Roy Halladay in 2010.

Mizzou Knocks Off South Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Three turnovers helped Missouri on its way to a 24-10 victory against South Carolina Saturday. Freshman Drew Lock started at quarterback for Missouri in place of Maty Mauk, who was suspended Tuesday for violating team policies. Lock completed 21 of 28 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Tigers win their first Southeast Conference game of the season.
