Rash of Accidents Hits Ralls County

(Ralls County, Mo)--Slick conditions on both sides of the river kept law enforcement and wreckers busy Thursday.

MODOT reports a pair of accidents both involving two semi trucks has snarled traffic in Ralls County. As of 6 p.m. Thursday, both lanes of US 36 East are closed near Monroe City, while another wreck involving two semis has one lane of Highway 19 near Center blocked. (Roads are expected to be closed for up to two hours).

Earlier in the afternoon, the northbound lanes of Highway 61 in Ralls County were closed for a couple of hours after a semi crashed near the Fireworks Superstore.
